Programs Tailor Made for All Needs

We nurture a wide range of interests, abilities, and aspirations.  Whether you are interested in pursuing a professional career in music or enjoying music as a pastime, we will provide the skills needed for life-long learning

Private piano lessons for all ages

We offer piano lessons for Preliminary, Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced level students.  Whether you are a student who wants to play for fun, or a student wishing to excel to the highest level, we are here to help you become the pianist you want to be.

  • Preliminary Level
Students can be as young as 5 years of age.  We focus on music that students want to learn, with easy melodies and accompaniments that fit young, small hands.  Our students learn from the most popular beginner piano methods including, The Music Tree, Music for Little Mozart, Piano Adventure, Hal Leonard, Succeeding at the Piano, Piano Discovery, and Bastien and Alfred.

  • Early Elementary to Elementary Level
At this level, students learn simple melodies and easy chord forms before progressing to more advanced note-reading and harmonies.  Beginner piano methods continue to play a part of daily study.

  • Late Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced Level
After successfully completing the beginner piano methods, our students progress to the Celebration Series: a comprehensive publication of graded repertoire and etudes for the piano.  Each book contains music from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, as well as the 20th Century.  It features an outstanding selection of pieces including fresh and exciting compositions by today’s most popular composers, all to provide flexibility, inspiration, and education to our students.

Enrichment Lessons for Adults

We are happy to teach adults with or without prior experience in piano or guitar.  By tailoring our lesson programs to meet your needs, we can teach you to read music notation, play chords, or learn just about any style you would like.  Each lesson is private and can last 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour.

These courses are taught by very experienced, former university professors and are designed for students preparing to enter music programs in Japan or abroad.
