The direct translation of「Kokoro-zuke」is "gratify."

The concept is similar to "Tipping."

"Kokoro-zuke" could be money, gift coupons, a box of sweets, and so forth.

It is not mandatory, but it is a nice gesture that shows you appreciate the construction workers' efforts.

Today was our carpenter's last day.

I wanted to give him beer, but I couldn't decide which brand to get.

So, what was my solution???

Get the top 10 beers for him.

I hope he will enjoy sipping and comparing these beers.

My only fear is that he might not be a beer drinker.....
