Every Friday, I teach one of my adult piano students who lives in Thailand using Skype. She has been studying with me for over 2 years, and she didn't want to discontinue her lessons just because I moved back to Japan.
It is such a joy to teach students who are very much into learning. She is an adult, and she is a piano teacher with 20 plus students. But, she came to me saying that she wishes to be a better pianist so she could be a better teacher for her students. What dedication!!
She plans to visit Japan for an intensive piano camp. Once or twice a year, she will fly from Thailand for 7 to 10 days only to take lessons. She is to be married in July 2018. But, she happily LINEs me that her future husband agrees to let her continue with her learning.
